The Boulevard

Our new licenced care facility opened in December 2014 to replace our West Vancouver facility. The new facility is a 10 bed home providing psychosocial rehabilitation services for men and women living with severe mental health issues. The house is staffed 24 hours a day and is licensed under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act. Staffing includes a Manager of Care who is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, a weekend nurse (RPN) and Mental Health Workers. People living in the house use staff support to develop individual rehabilitation plans focusing on symptom management, activities of daily living and personal management. The goal for each individual is to return to living in the most productive, independent way possible. Since we focus on the individual and their timetable for recovery, there is no "average" length of stay.

Cloverley House

Cloverley House is situated in North Vancouver City. The house provides supportive rehabilitation services to nine men and women living with severe mental health issues. The house is licensed and staffing includes a Manager of Care who is a Registered Nurse, an Activity Worker and Mental Health Workers. The pace of change and recovery is slower than at Malchow House but the goal is still to return to as productive and independent a life as possible. Residents of the House use staff support to work on identified rehabilitation goals. The length of stay at Cloverley House is generally longer and the age range is somewhat older than at Malchow House.

Chesterfield House

Chesterfield House is a 24-unit apartment building located near the civic center in the City of North Vancouver. The building was purchased in a unique Joint Venture between BC Housing, the City of North Vancouver and Marineview Housing Society. We provide independent living for individuals who live with mental health and market rent tenants. Chesterfield embraces the possibilities for individuals to enhance wellness, develop and maintain positive living skills and establish meaningful interpersonal relationships.

We provide accessible, secure housing creating opportunities for change and growth. Individuals focus on personal wellness and strengths, self-determination and build resilience. Many tenants are involved in the community pursuing personal interests, employment, school/college, volunteering, social activities, hobbies and passions.
